    Nancy and I could not recommend anyone more for a job the Merl. We completely left our home and left our home in his hands for 3-4 weeks during the heavy dust and dirt period with complete confidence the work was getting done and getting done right because Merl was there making sure it was.     Merl has been a pleasure to work with! His team completed an office remodel at our facility, which included adding a wall to split the space into two, installing new flooring, replacing the ceiling tile, painting, and relocating some HVAC. His team did such a good job that we are having him do another office remodel and possibly add a completely new office space. Highly recommend! An added bonus to working with Merl is his prices are very reasonable! Thank you again Merl and team! See more See less

    My wife and I had Merl’s Construction do a complete remodeling of our two-floor condominium. We found Merl Long to be of good character and reputation.     First off, Merl and his crew are awesome and great eye for detail. We hired Merl's Construction to build us a Dumpster Surround that would have the Town of Mooresville happy. Merl did everything from listening to what we wanted built to final approval. Not only did he produce cad drawings, he permitted it, built it, and handled every detail of the enclosure.     We strongly recommend Merl’s Construction. Merl and his team completed a significant remodel of our first floor including the kitchen, pantry, keeping room, dining room, family room and primary bedroom. Not only did Merl successfully complete the project on time, he addressed existing structural issues and provided guidance and expertise on design. He has vast construction experience and knowledge. He listens, cares and has great ideas to solve issues. Large scale remodeling is often stressful but we were always confident in Merl and his team. We love the end result. He has installed ceiling fans, blinds, mounted/un-mounted TVs, installed a doorbell camera, installed shelving in a closet, and assembled shelving for our garage.
